It is important to understand the real events of the people being evacuated.
They are being herded like cows and are put into situations where they cannot start new lives, and then in five months will be released under the pretense that they were given aid and didn't take advantage of it, when they are stuck in an isolated concentration camp situation with only two meals a day. Please read the information on this blog.

floods and hurricanes and global warming, oh my!

It is such a clear symptom of the illness that is this government when they step back from a disaster KNOWING that the people will help each other out. KNOWING that the love and compassion in the hearts of the masses will take care of disaster victims, especially the lower and middle class Americans that can sympathize.

But, what a burden it is that we have to pay taxes to fund the killing of Iraqi people instead of it going to *help* any people in struggle.

Another symptom is that we are completely isolated so that we are kept from having the empirical information to make good judgment.
This is not the first recent disaster that global warming has caused, and by the way, a lot of scientists agree that global warming and hurricanes are connected:

But, the other recent disasters are, of course, discussed in other countries:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4172004.stm
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4181562.stm

And no one knows about this stuff here. But when I called my grandmother in Romania this morning, she knew all the details of the New Orleans tragedy.

Just a reminder that this should not have hit us as a surprise had we not been kept in a black box.
Educate yourself!

GOP delusion and Spanish Modernism

Wow. You have GOT to be kidding me. I know we all know there are idiots in office, but come on. Someone this deluded can't POSSIBLY be allowed to remain:
Read about how A Republican congressman from North Carolina told CNN on Wednesday that the "evidence is clear" that Iraq was involved in the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.

Also, way to go Spain! They are so ahead of the game:
Find out about how Spain's lower house of parliament has voted in favour of allowing gay couples to marry and adopt children.

Finally, WOW how disturbing: It turns out that the first case of mad cow in the U.S. is in TEXAS, but not only this, there are investigations going on with the pet food company the ranch was using due to hints that they were "specialize in turning diseased, dying and dead animals into pet food or into dried meal for poultry and pigs, as well as into tallow, gelatin and other products."
Yes, and this is from the NYTimes. Read it here.

prison ship allegations

U.S. faces prison ship torture allegations. Read more here.

Also, the full text on the U.S. president's speech last night.
It is absolutely unvelievable how many fallacies this man can make, even through mere implication.
